Program Director's Welcome Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship Kristin J. Taylor, M.D. Program Director Welcome to the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Imaging Fellowship Program in the department of radiology's division of musculoskeletal radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. We are pleased to offer a one-year dedicated MSK imaging fellowship position. The non-accredited fellowship program is designed to enhance an individual's skills in a multitude of techniques related to MSK imaging, preparing the candidate for a successful career in the academic or private practice setting. Assignment to the clinical rotations includes interpretation of cases, supervision of residents, performance of procedures and preparation for multiple interdisciplinary conferences. Fellows rotate at the UF Health Jacksonville clinical center and UF Health Emerson Medical Plaza outpatient imaging center. The fellowship offers experience with MSK related modalities including CT, dual-energy CT, 1.5T and 3T MRI and conventional radiography. In addition, fluoroscopically-guided joint aspiration, arthrography and therapeutic steroid injections are routine. Likewise, CT-guided bone and soft tissue biopsies as well as ultrasound-guided procedures are performed. Fellows are given the opportunity to pursue research and clinical interests as well as attend daily didactic noon teaching conferences. In addition, the fellow will benefit from close interdepartmental collaboration, especially with orthopedics, rheumatology, endocrinology and podiatry.
