Welcome to the Interventional Radiology – Independent Residency Program with the division of vascular and interventional radiology in the department of radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. Our division provides professional services to UF Health Jacksonville, a 695-bed academic health facility and UF Health North, a 96 bed comprehensive care hospital in North Jacksonville.

Our two-year residency is intended for graduates of a diagnostic radiology residency, and focuses on preparing our trainees for independent practice in both diagnostic and interventional radiology after graduation. Our strengths are the high case volumes and a broad diversity of pathology which prepare our graduates for a wide range of practice types. Regardless of your desire to practice in academics versus private practice, or in a large versus small group practice, you will graduate with the capability to enter practice with confidence in your skills and abilities.

The information contained on this site is meant to provide a broad overview of our program and faculty, as well as contact information to help answer any additional questions you may have.
