Steven E Morales-Rivera, M.D.

Steven Morales-Rivera, M.D., is a University of Florida assistant professor of Radiology and a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist at UF Health in Jacksonville.

Dr. Morales-Rivera received his medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He completed his radiology residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, and his Interventional Radiology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPenn) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Morales-Rivera specializes in interventional oncology therapies, including radioembolization (Y-90), chemoembolization, and percutaneous tumor ablation. He also specializes in minimally invasive treatments such as prostate artery embolization (PAE) and therapies for peripheral arterial disease (PAD). In addition, he performs vertebral augmentation for vertebral body fractures and offers other targeted embolization procedures, including uterine artery embolization for fibroids, hemorrhoid embolization for bleeding hemorrhoids, and genicular artery embolization for knee pain.
