
The division of cardiovascular and thoracic imaging in the department of radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville provides the entire range of advanced cardiovascular and thoracic imaging services at UF Health Jacksonville, UF Health North and Emerson Medical Plaza. We offer non-invasive clinical diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art MRI and CT technology, with radiation dose-reduction strategies. Our cardiovascular and thoracic imaging team provides accurate image interpretation and diagnosis of all cardiopulmonary disorders.

Patient Care
Our cardiovascular services comprise a wide breadth of imaging. These include pre-TAVR procedure cardiac CT, cardiac anatomic evaluation and full functional cardiac studies, including stress perfusion and flow dynamics. The entire range of vascular imaging is performed including vascular studies of all territories, such as coronary, carotid, thoracic, abdominal, pelvic and extremities.
In terms of thoracic imaging, we perform conventional diagnostic chest radiographs, CT and low-dose screening as a member of the ACR Lung Cancer Screening Registry. Our advanced imaging techniques include high-resolution CT scans for the evaluation of focal and diffuse lung disease and tracheobronchial pathology.

The Thoracic Oncology Program at the UF Health Cancer Center at Jacksonville offers lung cancer screenings using a safe, low-dose CT scan.
