Abdominal and General Body Imaging

The division of abdominal and general body imaging in the department of radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville provides imaging expertise in abdominal and pelvic diseases. At the very hub of UF Health Jacksonville and closely intertwined with the majority of medical and surgical sub-specialty departments, the division is involved in diagnosis, treatment and response to treatment of abdominal and pelvic processes. We provide state-of-the-art imaging that includes ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), gastrointestinal and genitourinary radiology and image-guided biopsy. All imaging examinations are interpreted on a state-of-the-art picture archiving communication system (Visage PACS).
